  • Must provide your own cleaning supplies and equipment

  • Cleaning experience preferred

2. Supply Standards List

​

  • Microfiber cloths (multiple, clean, and color‑coded preferred)

  • All‑purpose cleaner

  • Bathroom cleaner/disinfectant

  • Glass cleaner

  • Floor cleaner (safe for hardwood, tile, and laminate)

  • Vacuum with strong suction and attachments

  • Mop + bucket or spray mop

  • Duster (extendable preferred)

  • Sponges and scrub brushes

  • Trash bags

  • Gloves

  • Your own shoe covers

  • A small step stool (for safe, reachable areas only)

  • Stainless steel polish

  • Magic erasers

  • Odor neutralizer

  • Carpet spot cleaner

Quality Expectations

  • ​Supplies must be professional‑grade and meet our quality standards.

  • Vacuums must be in good working condition

  • Clothes and tools must be clean at the start of each job

3. Insurance Requirements

​

Protecting You, Our Clients, and Our Company

All independent contractors working with Golden Heart Cleaners are required to carry active general liability insurance. This protects you and the client in the event of accidental damage or injury.

Minimum Requirements

​

  • General Liability Insurance

  • Minimum coverage: $1,000,000 per occurrence

  • Policy must be active and in your name

  • Proof of insurance must be submitted before onboarding

What Your Policy Should Cover

​

  • Accidental damage to client property

  • Accidental injury caused during cleaning

  • Slip‑and‑fall incidents

  • Broken items

  • Chemical spills or damage

​​

Verification

​

  • You must provide a copy of your insurance certificate

  • You must notify us immediately if your policy changes or expires

This protects everyone involved and keeps our business compliant and trustworthy.
